Went here with friends and the cream tea is to die for! Big pot of tea and refills homemade scones and properly clotted cream. All served with a smile. Would throughly recommend this place. We have also been to the Supper Club, 2 course meal and entertainment what better has Alfriston got to offer, great value for money.

We popped in out of the rain for a quick snack. Scones were light and warm. Plenty of tea and very polite and efficient waiting staff.
Very acceptable prices and I believe a wonderful garden, for when the sun shines.
    Highly recommended.

Just popped in for a cream tea in the beautiful gardens at the rear of the property so can only comment on the cream tea itself. One word only required - delicious. An added bonus was the surprise that the scone had been warmed before serving. Some may have expected fresh cream but we had no complaints about the clotted cream that came our way.

My husband and I walked from Eastbourne to Alfriston along the Seven Sisters... a walk we did together... as strangers back in 1991.

We stopped in Alfriston as we did back then... nothing has changed much. We chose this place as a reward .... the cream teas and garden setting were a true English delight.

Service was great. Food tasty. Wait team even supplied cab numbers so we could get back to the start of the walk and our car.
